Can you think of any cases of a team trading their 1st pick in the N.B.A. draft on or near draft day?
Paul Pierce is really raising a fuss and I'm sure Boston could like to unload its pick for a blockbuster deal. But the franchise is so screwed up and it has little to offer outside the draft choice that it may be a transaction that never happens.

Basketball holders are generally scared to pull the trigger, particularly on draft day.

I am to get tired of all the Garnett, Kobe, Stoudemire trade talks they all stay put and the draft will be boring as common.

Like the NFL draft much better more intrigue.

I dont remember an real pick being traded but I do remember one time when the player drafted at #1 was now traded to another team. The only one I can remember is the 1993 draft, when Chris Webber has been drafted #1 by Orlando, then now traded to Golden State for Anfernee Hardaway and three future 1st round draft picks.
