My mother signed a contract for a Kirby vacuum cleaner on eleven 11 07 I know, I know, and I used my GREAT Hoover vacuum as part of the trade in deal. I pulled out the contracts and sent in the three day backout pages by certified mail. The company got the info on the 15th the day they were supposed to have the information by .

I looked at the paperwork and I'm a little perplexed. There are two contracts. both have the cancellation papers on them I sent both back . One of the policys indicates if they don't pick the vaccum up inside 20 days after the cancellation date twelve five 07 we may keep or dispose of the products without any more responsibility. The other policy doesn't state this. Which one rules?

Also, today is the tenth day after cancelation and they were supposed to returned my property traded in. I have not gotten my vaccume back still.

What now? Sue?

I hope you sent the cancellation back via certified mail. Either contract if signed and saw have legal standing, but the one that states they have 20 days or you keep the equipment is valid. keep a record of all those you contacted, the times you talked, who you talked to there as well as employees numbers and what was said. In case your involved in a small claims case. The possibility exists that your salesperson isn't working there any longer, they come and go daily. So your vacuum can be in the trash someplace. purchasing merchandise from door to door sales people is iffy at best. I could mark it up to experience and hope your not going to have court or credit problems at some point. stay on their butts.
