what books, websites, or classes are out there to teach to how to become a smart stock trader and not you are run of the mill gambler or crowd fan.

should I concentrate on the technical or fundamentals, am I supposed to add both when considering a trade.

i want to invest in the stock market, with the real estate market, and im looking for the best road to get there.

There is so much out there you may be able to use up your complete day educating yourself without ever to get around to really trading.

You need some short cuts.

1 Do a search on for books on stock trading and review those with the best reviews. There are some number of good systems. Pick one you're most comfy with and stick with it.
2 there's only so much books can teach you. Join a stock picking group and talk to other traders who are in the trenches right now:

These are some good websites to educate yourself on stock market investing.
fool.com
beginnersinvest.about.com/.
investopedia.com
thestreet.com/ see The Street.com University
youngmoney.com
clarkhoward.com/topics/investing_.

As far as books are worried, you could try:
Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki
Introduction to Successful Investing, by the NAIC
The Intelligent Investor: A Book of Practical Counsel

Theres also Investing for Dummies, Real Estate for Dummies, Mutual money for Dummies, etc..

Robert Kiyosaki hosts a webinar on real estate. you may be able to go to his web site, richdad.com to register. Donald Trump, the real estate guru has books on real estate also. Check your local library, which should have copies of Kiyosaki and Trumps books.

Happy investing :

I agree with what everyone is saying here: you have to read some books, and find a mentor who can teach you the important things that you really cant learn from books. I run a company like this, and we have had lots of success with teaching people how to trade profitably. Testimonials on our web site say exactly this. If you want to check it out, we're at ez traders.com

Best of luck to you.
