understand how stock market works, what drive stock prices, why they're listed and who are the market player. youll get some picture on how the game is going.

then, understand yourself. set your financial goal, unleashed your risk tolerance and discover your preference stock trading vs stock investing . Youll be more concentrate after doing this. trust me.

then, start implement your plan. start small and concentrate on gaining experience 1st. dont be too greedy still. learn to control your feeling. your last plan will be useless if you take feeling along the way.

Pick some businesses you like, do a little research on them,, then find a discount brokerage, like TD Ameritrade. Send them a check, they set you up with an account. Then you simply purchase shares of the businesses you like. Its lots like casino gambling, so continue with caution.

Investing in individual stocks takes lots of knowledge and practice, so I could not propose doing this till you are aware of totally how the stock markets work.

Vanguard.com is ideal for lasting investors who want to learn about mutual money, index money, and exchange traded money ETFs . Trading money is less high risk than trying to trade individual stocks.

Unless you plan on spending everyday of your life looking at stock charts trying to find out the best time to get in and out of individual stocks, I could look into some sort of fund.

Also be cautious about asking for stock info online. Most are most likely worthless or contain unethical motives. don't fall for any Pump and Dump scams.

As far as books go, I really started out with the Investing for Dummies books, and they certainly pushed me in the right direction. To many other books have their own agendas I believe.

The websites below all contain lots of FREE info to get you started in the right direction.
