How to do intra day trading with icicidirect?? Does it mean if I purchase today then I have to sell it today??

In Intraday you must sell the shares on the same day you purchase them.Intraday market close at 3:00 in afternoon if you sell the shares before the market closes it good otherwise they automatically sell them on the last trade price.If you r going in lose than what I propose you that there's an choice to move you are share frm Intraday to Market in that choose market &, then you can keep you are shares as long as you want.It dosent matter that you r purchasing through Icicidirect or sharekhan or Indiabulls the market rule remains same for all.Trust me I m also a invester &, primarily invest in Intraday.Hope this help u. |

| Intraday means you must settle your buy or sale before the trading is over. if you bought shares of a company at a specific rate, you must sell it before EOD if you're running at a profit or not. likewise if you short sold shares at a specific rate selling shares without owning them in the 1st place, then you have to purchase back before EOD. |

| exactly you have to those in a same day only.where as BTST i.e. purchase Today Sell Tomorrow are the selected stock those may be bought today and may be sell tomorrow. otherwise you have to go for delivery and sell you are stoke after T+2 days i.e after the trading take place. |

margin orders you must put.
Yes for that order you must close in the day or system will close automaticaly at the price whatever is decided then. |
