I have some questions that I cant seem to find the answer to. Can anybody help me out on them?
1. In detail, explain what prevents most health care organizations from starting commercial paper programs for short term financing?
2. Trade credit terms quoted as “3/15, net 45” means the customer:
A. could get a 3% discount if payment is made inside 15 days.
B. could get a 3/15 or one 5th discount if payment is made now after receiving the shipment.
C. could get a 3% discount if the net amount is paid on the 45th day.
3. Trade credit terms quoted as “1/20, net 60” carry a chance cost of:
A. 9.125%
B. 18.25%
C. 36.5%
D. 4.5625% |

| #2 is a because 3/15 net 45 means 3% discount if payed inside 15 days or pay net in 45 |
