you can go to google search engine and type books about stocks and shares you may get those subjects.

Select a particular business, telecom or infrastructure.

Then, compile the financial data for the businesses in the business over a time period say five years.

Compile the developmental plans of the said businesses in the years to come.

Analyse the environment, in which the businesses are operating.

Then, compile stock movements for the said businesses either at BSE or NSE.

Create an average growth/decline stat for all the businesses put together for five years on an yearly base year one, year two and so on keeping a year as the base

Do the same keeping the BSE Sensex figures for the same time.

Compare the averages of business growth rates and BSE sensex growth rates to learn the the periods in which the stocks under or over performed. Correlate the data with environment. you'll know to what factors the business reacted.

Now correlate the policy measures declared by the government and the environmental factors with the developmental measures declared inside the business.

With rough estimates for growth say GDP at 8% project the future income of the said businesses.

Correlate with historical data and point to future stock price trends of the businesses in the business. while working out the averages you may arrived at weightage given to each company .

You will now have a full financial evaluation project for a business. attempt to decide an business with few of players like telecom it is simpler to compile all the obliged parameters.

By the way, Publications like Capital Market should give you information on the businesses, their stock values also as the environment in which the stated businesses operate.

effect of internet on stock trading market and future will be an interesting area...it will also assist you get a cool job..
it is projected nearly 90% of the trading will go online in three four years. we're way behind worked on markets on this front

The best subject for an MBA investment project will be invstment analysis of a company although this is somewhat involved project this will teach you how to value part of a company, how to analyse it for investment reasons. You have to know lot of things for this, company approach, management style, financial analysis which will include Capital Asset Pricing Model, Wald or Bryan technique for calculating growth rate, dividend disount model form CAPM and projected rate of retun, stock volatility beta from company roi and stock price for the past 15 years etc,. I'm an AACSB MBA of the 88 class and we had to do it and I still cherish the times we were guided to do this. I worked on Atlantic Richfield then and the price which was $54 then jumped ot $84 in June 87 which was the price I calcualted. although I got only a B for the project this stock jump was an achievement.
